All My Little Treasures in an Elephant Box
The elephant box in my cedar-chest
Hides all of the items I find are the best
Like six popcorn seeds and an amethyst rock
And the picture of a faery on a flowers top
And a little crescent moon, a gift from a friend
The pouch for my neck, with a knot on the end
And the little gold ring from one I hold dear
All little items I hold very near
And when I get down, or blue in the heart
I look at these things which Ill never let part
And they bring back the memories that brought them to me
And I know that Im safe, with friends who love me.
